About Me

Chicago, IL is my place of birth, therefore my allegiance to the Chicago Cubs. Actually, Evanston, about 20 miles north, is the city where I was raised along with three sisters. After attending a local Catholic grade school, I went to an all girl’s private high school. Four years of many rosaries and novenas, led me to continue my education in Milwaukee, WI at Cardinal Stritch College, where I was enrolled as an art student.
Two years later, the lure of the city, brought me back to my roots, where I joined the ranks of Loyola University, in Chicago. It was in the student center where I met prince charming. We married after courting for a couple of years, began our family, and moved to Philadelphia.
My four sons and one daughter were now all in school, so I decided to return to the academic life, pursuing an elementary education degree from Immaculata College. As time went on, I enrolled in several graduate courses and, to this day, I have stayed current with the PA certification requirements.
Rich rewards have come my way; teaching for many years at Saint Patrick School, watching my own children grow into responsible and confident young adults, volunteering in several community organizations, spending several summers as the Summer Daycamp Director for Tredyffrin Township, traveling to many exciting cities, and last, but not least, enjoying the friendship of dear friends and family.
